鄂东诗人向天笑以爱情诗创作闻名于中国当代诗坛,数十年间以罕见而持久的热情投注于爱情诗的创作。向天笑爱情诗的独创性有三:其一,潜隐的宗教精神;其二,朴素的哲理意蕴;其三,纯净的美学追求。这三点决定了向天笑爱情诗的抒情品格,即诗歌情感的雅洁、内涵的深厚和建构的精美。

Xiang Tianxiao,a poet from the eastern part of Hubei,has been renowned for his love poems in contemporary Chinese poetic circles,and has devoted his rare and lasting passion to the writing of love poems for decades.His poems,fresh as spring grass,crystal as dew,and sweet as serenades,are undoubtedly top ones of contemporary love poems.Xiang's love poems are marked by three aspects of originality: first,"the latent religious spirit";second,"simple philosophical implications";and third,"the pure aesthetic pursuit",which determine the lyric essence of his love poems,namely,graceful emotions,profound meanings and an exquisite structure.
