文章认为,除了作者出色的语言驾驭能力和融现实主义与现代主义于一体的技巧之外,《孽子》的成功主要还在于作者以娴熟的笔法表现了男同性恋者群体的生存状态及其心路历程这一主题,同时从侧面反映了以父权为代表的中国社会对同性恋的态度。
Abstract：It is opined in this paper that besides the adept ability to administer language and the exquisite skill to integrate realism with modernism on the part of the author, the success of The Evil Son mainly lies in its skillfully portraying the living conditions of the male gays and their psychological pilgrimage and in demonstrating the attitude towards homosexuality of the Chinese society dominated by patriarchy.
